ClipGem tablets reduce paper costs by allowing full-size form filling, signature, and simultaneous form linking with any standard PC computer.
Users affix a paper form under the clip and sign each individual signature field as necessary. The tablet captures the user’s signature and biometric data, the software binds it to the electronic copy of the document in real time, and the inking tip of the pen makes a paper record. ClipGem is powered by the computer’s serial or USB port, so no batteries or bulky wall transformers are needed. The thin tablet design is as familiar and functional to first-time users as a standard clipboard. Bundled 32-bit ActiveX control software includes compression, generation of automatic electronic receipts, and binding of signatures to documents and data using sophisticated encryption techniques. The active electromagnetic pen is designed for a long life of over 30 million tip activation cycles, and the plastic tip is easily replaceable with no dis-assembly required. All software updates and support are available at no extra charge. SigPlus™ software is compliant with eSign, state and federal digital signature regulations, by virtue of its ability to bind and encrypt the signature to a document or electronic form data. Examples and software plug-ins are bundled with the tablet.
